People
Savannah is rich with characters from the little girl who sat on General Sherman's lap and exclaimed her father enjoyed killing yankees to the personalities presented in John Berendt's boon Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. Robert knows the stories and brings a wide range of characters to life from John Scarbrough's wife who had the slaves move the furniture out of the house for dancing to tragic Anna who plunged to her death rather than marry a man she didn't liove.
Places
Savannah is noed for its architecture but many of the city's most compelling building are associated with equally compelling stories. Robert can take your imagination inside the history of some of Savannah's most famous landmarks. For example, the Kehoe House, shown at right, played a critical role in Savannah's iron industry, is noted as a haunted inn and once belonged to Joe Namath.
